Hatfield Hyde 3rd XI v Sawbridgeworth Cricket Club Sawbo PANTHERS on Sat 29 May 2010 at 1:00
Sawbridgeworth Cricket Club Won 140 runs

Match report Well the 5's are up and running, while virtually everybody else in the League was rained off the 5th's travelled to Hatfield Hyde with their strongest team yet this year only to be greeted witha grey and overcast sky and light drizzle falling!! However with two captains willing to try and get a game in, Hyde won the toss and put Sawbo in. A decision he later regretted I am sure when Sawbo declared on 252-4 after only 40 overs with the skipper having made his first ever ton, finishing on 126 before being caught and Graeme Inch chipping in with 66 and Rob Moorley 27. Some hostile new ball bowling from Lane and Purnell saw the visitors soon in trouble, and with Bruton bowling his best spell of the year to finish with 4-28, wickets fell regularly and even the sun came out at the end to put the gloss on a fine Sawbo performance and a much needed win.
