Match report well what a day two amazing things happened on Saturday, firstly the skipper won the toss for the first time this season and secondly the skipper scored a ton for the second consecutive weekend. Pinch me please I must be dreaming. Well after Heslop (84) and Freeman (105) had put on over 200 for the first wicket the skipper declared on 222 after 37.4 overs at the fall of his wicket to give his young bowlers plenty of time to bowl the oppo out which they duly did. Although 6 overs were lost to rain Wormley were all out for 148 in 39.4 overs, with Matt Wallace the pick of the bowlers with 3-31 from 12 and two wickets apiece for Bruton and Lane. Another 30 points in the bag and the climb up the table continues, despite playing the game with only 10 men after a slight mix up on selection!!
