Match report On a dreadful day at Much Hadham, we contrived to play, lose the toss on a wet one and lose to the top of the league. Batting first we were always in trouble. New signing Steve Hagger looked a good prospect for the 5's and was unlucky to be bowled by one that kept low. We were 38 for 6 off 22 and then the oldies, Waring snr, Hook snr and Molt at least saw us through the overs. Tony Hook made a fine 21, Carl Waring 16 not out and Molty 15 not out to take us to 95.

In reply George Delaney bowled quickly and caused them problems. However, only needing 96 to win they could take chances and did, with 's coming off top edges and inside edges. The game was over in 15 overs of their innings.
